What is Rainbows
Rainbows have fun! They take part in games and activities as part of their programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw.
Everything a Rainbow does helps her to develop and to think for herself, in a safe girl-only environment.
Any girl aged five to seven can be a Rainbow. Rainbows make this simple Promise that they share with members around the world: I promise that I will do my best to love my God and to be kind and helpful.
Welcome to 2nd Thame Rainbows
2nd Thame Rainbows meet weekly in Thame. We have a varied programme and this term we are all working as a group towards the Elephant Challenge badge. We will be including, some craft, art, movement, pottery painting, cooking, games and songs in our activities.
We currently are running with 16 girls, who are all aged between 5-7 years old. We have one leader- vanilla and she is helped by Peppermint, Clove and Violet!
Each evening starts with circle time and our Rainbow song which always ends with a loud cheer! Our Rainbow mascot Olivia and her friends, Buttons and Indigo go home with a different Rainbow each week and always come back with a story.
Special events for the rest of the year/term include the district panto, singing at Meadowcroft and our Christmas Bazaar.
